Do you refer patients to dermatology and wound care specialists because you are not confident in your ability to manage dermatological conditions or wounds? Are you up-to-date with the evolving treatments, advances in techniques and technology? Don’t let the diagnosis and management of skin conditions and biopsy and wound care procedures overwhelm you! Make it part of your daily practice, today!
Join us for a full and exciting day of learning at the NEW Dermatology and Wound Care for Primary Care Providers Conference. This conference promises to provide nurses and primary care providers with the latest evidence-based practices and treatments for acute skin infections, chronic inflammatory conditions, wounds, and skin cancer, using many patient scenarios and case studies to keep the focus clinical and engaging.
Interested in holistic health care practices? Do you want to reconnect with the compassion that attracted you to the health field? Come join us for a day of learning and practicing relaxation methods and compassion in caregiving. Jon Seskevich, RN, BSN, nationally known for his work in holistic and compassionate care, will help you learn and apply strategies to help build resiliency, listen to patients without taking on their pain, apply guided relaxation and healing touch therapies, and provide short but effective neck and shoulder massages.
You will also learn how to apply self-relaxation techniques and mindfulness to your health care practice. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with peers, refresh your knowledge about the mind-body connection, and build your knowledge and skills to increase the quality of compassionate care you provide
