The SON Announces 2014 Global Health Scholars

Fifteen students representing the BSN, MSN, and PhD programs will travel to ten countries in Africa, Asia, Central America and South America to expand their world view and broaden their cultural understanding through a global health experience.  One of those students, Charles Sessoms, will travel to Kenya with support from the Cronenwett Global Health Award. Funded by Bill and Mary Lou (BSN ’57) Booth in 2007, this award honors former Dean Linda Cronenwett, PhD, RN, FAAN, and supports student travel each year.  Two scholars, Chifundo Colleta Zimba and Jinbing Bai, will also be traveling to Hong Hong to present their research at an annual Research Congress held by the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society.
