Debra Barksdale Chosen for RWJF Executive Nurse Fellows Program
Dr. Debra Barksdale has been selected as a member of the 2011 cohort of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows Program. This highly competitive program provides three years of leadership training for nurses in executive positions. Only twenty fellows are selected each year from a national applicant pool. The training program is designed to help fellows apply the knowledge and skills they obtain to the leadership challenges and opportunities they face in their work. The training includes leadership development, executive coaching and mentoring, team-based learning, implementation of an individual leadership project.
The National Program Office for the RWJF ENF Program is now is NC with Dr. David Altman of the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro and SON Distinguished Professor Linda Cronenwett serving as Co-Directors.
