The scholar for this academic year is Marilyn Puiung Chow, RN, DNSc, FAAN,
Kaiser Permanente Vice President Marilyn Chow is the SON's 2010 Ethnic Minority Visiting Scholar.
the current vice president for national patient care services at Kaiser Permanente in California. Chow has more than 30 years of experience in top leadership positions in healthcare delivery across a continuum of care settings, professional nursing organizations and academia.
As part of her visit to the SON, she will present a lecture entitled, “Designing the Future of Acute Care Models.” She will speak at 3 p.m. in the Fox Auditorium in the SON’s new addition.
