The School of Nursing is in the planning stages of launching a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. To further the discussion and research surrounding this educational track, we are holding
University of Washington School of Nursing professor and dean emeritus Nancy Fugate Woods will speak at the School of Nursing about offering a Doctorate of Nursing Practice track at a research-intensive school.
an event to highlight the merits and effects of the DNP.
We invite you to join us on Nov.11 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Fox Auditorium in the School of Nursing. Nancy Fugate Woods, RN, PhD, FAAN, professor and dean emeritus from the University of Washington School of Nursing will speak about “Educating DNP Students in a Research Intensive University: Implications for Education, Research and Practice.”
