Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipients Announced
Five School of Nursing students were selected to receive the Dean’s Merit Scholarship this fall. Students are chosen by the Dean based on their academic performance.

for the award for a second year, and Ludmila Crenshaw, Shelly Summerlin-Long and Rebecca Hemmo Spielman were selected as first-time recipients.
The Dean’s Merit Scholarship was created by an anonymous donor who wanted to support academically-talented and deserving students. The $200,000 endowment gift will grow to support at least four BSN students annually.
